Now if I could find a way to clamp it with a 1/2in or less then tying the tail would be a lot easier.

I got the Bull Dog clamp in today and its not going to do the job no clamping power on the hook so looks like sticking to the forceps are the way to go.Pepop said:I saw some 3.5" clamps on eBay.
