Still mulling over what i want to tie for the current swap. Have been playing around with a few different styles....

Tying thread neck craftfur jigs at this size proved to be challenging!

I have my favorites and i know a few are successfull and others still are un-tested.

Id take any of em.... I do like the palmered olives also...

I agree they are all nice, but the olive with the grizzly hackle is a real work of art!

Thanks all! :) :jig:

The hackle chubs on the right of the top pic are as of yet untested..... maybe over the weekend i will get a few minutes to get them wet, they seem to be the most liked.

Both styles of the redneck craftfur jigs proved they are winners - but i have been using the all back ones more.

My pic sucks on these, over exposed. :dodgy:

I like all of the craft fur ties the best. Though, I might be a little biased. ;)

Well done on all of them. :jig:

Those are all killer ultralights. I'd take any of them. Of course I got a thing for them chubs with the eyes. Very nice ties,I see a mess of bluegill fillets for you in the near future.

Sorry, missed the question HJ.......

Go figure - once again i can't say for sure on the wt & hook. Think they are either 1/80 or 1/64 chubs and hooks maybe #10's. Junglejim sent them to me and think he had the sizes on them but don't know where that original baggie got to.

The green head ones do look really cool, but had better luck with bluegills using the black ones (two on the top left with the dub bodies) in my lakes. I am partial to darker jigs/flies in general, so just the confidence i had could be a reason for the better result. The hackle on such light weight heads (both styles) lets them fall very slow.

I believe the chubs are 1/64 on a #8,but the olives could be a 1/80.At the time I poured those I didn't have any #10 sickles.
