Not crazy about tying hackle but I need to improve my skills and I do kind of like the results .With any luck the fish will like em too.

I actually prefer hackle on my jigs. In the beginning it seemed to be very time consuming compared to just tying a reg jig. Now it's just another step and relatively quick once you get use to it.

I do like the look of the hackle but I think the action of the wool bodies is superior. Still very interesting to learn to tie different materials.
