I've gotten "hooked" on the belly spinners. These are on some of Hunter's 1/8 oz heads with a lot smaller blades. I'm thinking they should do well spider rigging just barely moving.

Thanks guys, I got the swivels, split rings, and blades from Janns Netcraft. Gary and Heath, PM me if you want to know the sizes I used.

Very nice belly spins. They look like colorado blades which should add some thump to the baits. I use all kinds of blades but my all around favorite are Indiana's. Those bait's should catch you a ton of slabs.

They are Indiana blades. These are size 00, the smallest they had. Some of them are hammered brass and some are smooth nickel.

Scott - you might want to try the butt rings (jump rings). Cheaper and easier to use. Haven't lost any blades.

Thanks LedHed, I've never tried them before. I know those small split rings will give you a headache. LOL

Love em. Those are #2 hooks?
I have a new found passion for swimming jigs.... Think that style would work better than a triple tail as far as spot casting and counting down?

Scott,
Hope you've been using some sun screen. Looked mighty red in last pic i had seen from you and mr. G's trip to Grenada. Take care of yourself.

Ya know you folks are going to mess around and give me the fever to finish my custom mold for belly spinners . It's goofy looking but if I work real hard I might get them to look as good as the ones in the pics . Very spiffy jigs . Now get out there and hook'em before the eyes on your rod freeze up .

Great ties, those colorado's will thump. Is that a size 12 crane swivel??? I know you guys have been promoting the butt rings but when you have a few thousand split rings you use them LOL
