yeah, I don't see where ya need to improve at all! I know of several crappie fishermen in these parts that swear by those jigs tipped with a small minnow, and they all catch more 2lb. crappie in a season than I will ever see. they do alot of spider rigging and like I said they add a small minnow, hooked up thru the chin and out the top of the head, but not too far back or it will kill the minnow. fish it under a cork too and let it sit just like regular minnow fishing, when they take it you have all the time in the world to set the hook because they don't let it go.
