Couple more days then I will be heading south to fish Lake Murray in south Carolina.
Being a avid Civil War buff I decided to tie a pattern called the Gray Ghost.
Named after John S. Mosby who I came to admire greatly the more I learned about the man. My other Southern side hero was Nathan Bedford Forrest.
anyway tied this with a mink mini zonker strip. rhinestone eyes and silver flash. Used a small tooth brush to keep the mink hair layered while palmering up to the jig head. Colored mono thread with silver sparkle NP.
Hopefully it will bedevil those Confederate crappies as much as Mosby did to the Yankee army. If not as least give Stump and I something to talk about.
