Hi,

I got tired of using 1mm Mono as a belly-spinner extention for large fuzzy jigs and finally ordered some pony and sea horse molds. Here are the first two ones, 1/4t and 3/8th on 2/0 Matzuo sickle and 3/0 Gamakatsu Jig22.

Tried to get somewhat close to A.F.`s motoroil mix but couldn´t help ending up in the sandy/copper corner again. The sparse holo glitter doesn´t really show in the picture. Found that the regular stuff from the craft shop works just fine.
BTW I found out the hard way that shrink tube ist best to be removed while its still hot and soft and not after the baking

Gonna take these ones out for a ride this afternoon, see what the cod have to say to them :D

Thanks everybody!

Just came back from the beach - far more than 30 cod in just one evening of fishing. Only three keepers, though, but that´s normal at this time of year. It was whicked: a sickle on the sounder - drop the lure - wham! Or just a nibble at first - another drop - wham!
Other boats saw me catching, came by, left again... I think I got myself another pattern. I like that the blade is far less vulnerable to algae and debris getting stuck in it than the propeller, which makes it a good choice for slow days when the fish are bottom-feeding small stuff. I was literally dead drifting in a dead drift, no wind, no current, just myself inevidably rocking the boat and the fish still went for the other lure on the rod sticking in the holder. Nice!
