Saturday evening trip with the boy and kiptails

Had a great time this evening with Tyler catching hybrid bluegill, bass,crappie, and the Pond Monster on red and chartreuse kip tails. Wow! Awesome evening. Catching fish nearly every cast. But.... none for the table. Catch and release in the "test pond".

Hey now! He did put a whooping on me today. But I think I caught more! Tyler has been rubbing it in all night. I can't wait to try the kip at the lake. Kind of tricky to tie but getting better at them. Tomorrow I will try to have the big one!
