I posted last weekend about the local park the grandson and I had been fishing lately .Well this morning I had a shock.Took a walk around the park and the entire south end of the lake looked like this.

It should be too late for any of our algae blooms.We did have our first measurable rain since September during the week.My best guess is some runoff.....Looks like were going to have to find a new spot.

Reminds me of the time they poisoned our old city lake...Going to be awhile before you can fish there again!

I see that a lot around our dams at least the shad. Sometimes the turbines run so hard and fast the oxygen is displaced in the water and the fish can't survive the passage of the turbulance . Shad are somewhat delicate anyway.
