Tied a few more yarn jigs for the river. Looking forward to fishing for walleye, sauger, and bass this spring.

Tied on 1/8-ounce ball heads with #2 bronze hooks. Used Lashmax and Disco Yarns for "skirts" and craft fur for tails.

Those do look good. It seems lately I am fishing with more dark colors. It's amazing how well the dark colors are working in clear waters. Nice tying Pup.:)

Thanks for the kind words Everyone. :)

Wish I had a better photo of the top two jigs. The disco yarn has a nice shimmer with its built-in flash. Fished my dark-colored yarn jigs a lot last fall and have good confidence in them.

Most of all, I enjoy tying them. ;)

All of those are excellent looking but really like the colors on the top right one!
Bet the purple one gets the first fish!
I'd bet on the black/gold for the river - just too many chubs and such that fit that colors model. ;)

I have eyed that yarn in the craft shop a few times now but have yet to buy any..... need to give in. The stuff i have seen does have alot of the reflective material.

Dunno nada bout sauger or walleye but those look like bass killers!
Give me the purple one and I'd relive my fishing child hood.
