How well do the molds that are designed for both regular and flat eye hooks pour?
Do you get much flash in the hook eye area?
The reason that I'm asking is because I'm getting requests for a mold that will accept both types of hooks but I am use to only using regular hooks.
I'm concerned that if I cut the hook eye area to accept heavy and light hooks along with flat eye hooks, it may bleed lead into the hook eyes.
Any thoughts about this?

Thanks, Scott

Be real careful with the shank groove below the eye. check the heavy hook with a set of dial calipers.cut the groove about .003 over the dia.of the hook shank. If you goof and it creates flash at the eye the only thing you can do after that is turn down the heat on the lead pot alittle at a time to see if the flash will reduce.
