Here are a few craft fur jigs that I barbered tied tonight for crappie. Hoping to field test them this week. The jig at the top is a proven (to me) color pattern for sauger in clear waters. Jigs are tied on 1/16-oz ball or darter heads with #4 hooks.

And... each is a redneck. ;)

Your thread wraps always look so neat and even. Almost like theyre machine manufactured in how uniform they are. What's the secret?
Beautiful work.

Out here...
Those are very nice jigs. I have bunch of barbed collar jig heads that I use for tubes. Looks like I'm going to try something different

Thank you very much Adam. My secret is no more than paying attention to detail, taking my time, and using a vise with 360 degree rotation. Oh, ...and lots of practice too. ;)

Those look good Pup. But I'm a redneck and I don't have near that much hair.

Thanks Scott. Just be glad that you don't have yellow hair either. ;)

love the heads on the last 2 waat color paint is that?

I formed the color with a 1:1:1 mixture of black, red, and yellow Harbor Freight powder paint. It's a nice-looking brown (to me) that I plan to use on bass jigs in the future.
