When I first took my grand daughter fishing I posted the pics over on cc.
and won us a hat and tackle pack. One of the products was a Slab Daddy Supper double jig setup.

I took it out and looked at it and noticed how the jigs were attached

Well needless to say I didn't like it for two reasons - I don't know if you can change the jigs out on it - and it didn't seem like it would hold a fish on with just that little piece of wire.

So!!!!!! out came the wire and a redesign which allows you to change jigs easily and it isn't going to come apart.

Here it is with the springs open

And loaded up with my tiny purple jigs

And a few more, I'll make more because they are easy to do

Enjoy!!

Those are nice Doug. I really like the way you made your wire frames. I been seeing those and been wondering how they would work while longling. I only pull one jig per line because two jigs twist the line but those should work very well. PM me a price on eight frames if you want to sell a few. Nice work :)

I like yours better, the wire looks way to thick on the Slab Daddy which would kill the action.A small snap would help but still the Daddy looks bulky. I noticed on the rig that the jig on bottom is heavier than the top and that seems to make sense to keep the rig from rolling. You may need to do that with yours. I think yours would work well with a couple small spinnerbaits like roadrunners or tailgunners.

Thanks for the comments guys. I wanted to make them out of .029 wire which is 174 lb. test. BUT - the winding mandrell that came with the original Netcraft (no Janns in the name on this one) even when you wind the spring closures the doubled wires won't fit inside so I had to use .024 wire which is 124 lb. test.
