Red Eye Perch Minnow

I haven't had a chance to use this fly yet, but it's my impression that it should do well with Crappies.
Hook: Tiemco 2312, Straight Eye, 1XFine, 2XLong.
Body: Top; Yellow Wapsi Streamer Hair.
Bottom; White Wapsi Streamer Hair.
Both trimmed to shape & size.
Par Marks: Green Marks-A-Lot.
Thread: UNI, 6/0, Chartreuse.
Head Cement: Griff's Thin Multi-Layer.

It has already caught me! Nice work, the fly looks great.
That should give a good profile when wet and I agree that it should catch crappie. I am going to use a flyrod some this fall and winter for some bream on one of the smaller lakes I fish that have a good crappie population. I hope to try something like that minnow and see what the crappie think about it and some other flies.
