Record Flooding

Haven't been on the site in like 5 days. We had record flooding in our County. My downtown is flooded... but thank god some of our metro areas like Wilkes-Barre, PA evac'd 100,000 residents. It could have been much, much worse if they didn't evacuated.

I've been playing medic with the PA National Guard... looking for some restful sleep. I've had 4 hours of sleep in 5 days. Need a hot shower, a hot cup of coffee.... and a pair of new boots!

I can hear bulldozers clearing mud off my main street... I have never seen such devastation and I've served in a combat zone!!

Also, I'm shocked that this building I'm in has an internet connection and working phone lines.

Our area here in Arkansas flooded back in April. Crooked Creek flooded so bad that even the levee didn't hold back the water. Some areas of the down town got wet. The court house had to pump out there basement. It just now starting to look normal again. I know what you are talking about.

I keep hearing how high the Susqy had been. Sorry to hear all the trouble from it and glad to know the water has receeded. Also happy to hear about all the help you have been offering - got to be proud of that! Rest up while you can, it will take awhile to clean all that up.
