Yup it was a big un. Our old joke out here is "we only get 14 " of rain per year, and you otta be here the day we get it ;)

Almost 8 " at the house, 6.5 in town. Little over 10" 20 miles south of us.

Some good news the brazos river south of us is usually 6' wide and ankle deep. Today at lunch

The lake it feeds didn't need it nearly as much as my little white river. It only caught around a foot so far.

Wow, didn't realize Texas had such a diverse rainfall distribution. Looks like you could drown or die of thirst at the same time depending on location.

Moore, OK, got hit AGAIN! 4 times that town has been smacked by tornadoes.

My wife tells me that we had a small one come through the town we live in last night. Apparently, they never even sounded the tornado sirens.
