Well it is that time of year again, I'm getting ahead this year as it is still warm outside. These will be among the fist hair jigs use as they work better in water in the low 50s upper 40s and a friend tells me he gets walleye with them but I can't confirm that. Anyway, these are both 1/16oz minnow heads with a size #2 sickle hook, the top jig is shad gray and the bottom jig is orange perch. The shad pattern has some pearl flash in the tail, I think it works with the lack of color but that's it, basically the same jigs as my split tails only they use 1 tail and I add a little length to it as well for more movement.

I like them . Got to get off my tail and die up some stuff so I can make a few of those .

Those will work most any time of the year while the water is still soft. They should have a prefect shape once they hit water. Very nice ties.
