quality is king. I tell myself while fishing bass tourneys, I only need 5 bites to win....

Eh. That's for the "sportsmen". I've caught and ate sacs that your avid jig Tosser would mount. Not bragging in the least, I just care less. Don't get me wrong, I like the tug, but if'n it's not breaking a world record and gon buy me something to not paddle around,...I'm prob gon eat it.

I'm with you L Pole...we grow BIG crappie in my area of the country. I fish for the things year round and have to say its a bit of an obsession with me. I've caught thousands and have only four boated over 3 pounds - only one was on the end of my line. My best weight average was a trip in late November where 54 fish weighed 78 pounds. By the way...none of the 3's mentioned are on a wall.
