With a name like Purple Beaver... I had to get some of this stuff.. maybe not the best choice for this chenille, but it ought to make a good dirty water pattern.

Those look great! Now I am on the right track to use mine. Been hanging on the wall for a few months now with no use. I feel like I have left poor old purple beaver out. The name does sound like something you would see on a magazine behind the counter of 7-11.

Sounds like my Monday night Saints footbal slash walk to The bar n home trip. Or at least my head was purple n black in morn.

I like it, it says "check out my new hair cut".
Awesome jig.
Ill trade you some tutti fruti for some purple beaver.

The bug is interesting and i guarantee itd work. I just use lije colors on a jighead and avoid the troubles.

Thx for sharing.

Jerry nice ties. It won't be long before you have to put that Mud Bug to the test on some of the bream that are moving in to the Cypress Islands on Caddo. Had to do a few Mud Bugs for my boxes. And yes they do have some cute names for the New Age Chenille.

When I was fresh out of high school, I got a job at a video store that had an 'adult' section. Purple beaver sounds like a title that would fit right in.

That must be its official name too, since I've seen it hanging on the pegboard at the local fly shop. I bought a package, but haven't tied with it yet. Nice ties. With a darker tail, it would be a good match for some of the tadpoles I see in the local waters. Maybe I should tie up a few with those colors and send them to my brother, since he's a Husky. He'd probably get a kick out of it.
