For those who live in or near St. Louis or those with more time and money than most of us, there is a Powder Paint Coating Show October 8-10 by the Powder Coating institute. Here's the website

If anyone attends and you happen across a powder mfg. that actually has a good mirror chrome powder, if you were to buy about 10# of it you could make a killing!

I have a friend who is a powder paint chemist, and I have spoken to him frequently on my quest for a mirror powder paint. He told me that currently it is not possible to make a powder paint with the reflective properties of a mirror or chrome. The best solution is to have your jigs bright nickel plated. The best solution I've found was to clearcoat a freshly poured jig . Below is what I've come up with. However the head and blades have holo glitter applied first, then the clearcoat.

Looks good, I've used a lot of jigs with no paint and they work fine
