Has anyone used the powder plastic dyes? How does it work? Is it as good as the liquid?

On a side note, injected some 6" stick baits 4 cav mold, and all four had the outer part fully formed but about the top 1/4 was kind of hollow? These are injected one at a time from the top by the way.

Ok I must have missed this so here goes . LC powder colorant works just fine colorant is colorant depends on the ratio of pigment added . Go easy say a 1/4 cup add about a 1/16 tps of color . Takes a little practice . add just before your plastic reaches 340 or 350 . I suggest you invest in an infrared thermometer watch harbor freight for sales . Then when you inject fill the injector turn point up ease up on the push knob steam and air will escape .then you will get a full plastic flow . Insert into mold then inject . Hold pressure to count of 5 ,slightly raise injector ejecting plastic untill a puddle forms over the sprue hole . thats called capping the sprue . This should cure all your problems.
