Thought today be best as any to get my feet wet again. Started at noon and fished til 4. Wasn't what I pictured. Made milk runs, paddling from tree top' to tree top. Lots of lil fish active in the 8-10' range. Big fish went a peanut over 15". Kept 9 sacs n two bass on homemade jigs. Best color was pink n fl yeller.

Thx all. Got Pistol out for a few mins today. Was a big smile for me bc he's not been a fisherman in a while. Not as productive but didn't expect it. He was patient and I think learned a lot.
