Firstly, sorry haven't been participating as often. With work over-piled since hurricane and a broken vice, I've limited myself to sleeping and eating and weekends with Pistol.
Dying to fish more than anything.

Found these when organizing.
A Salty Buckster, Bruce, head that's tiny. Maybe 1/80? Cant imagine getting two colors on something so small, but he did. Dark top and white bottom. Great skills Bruce. Never attempted one this small bc I will never fish it. But it did prove a challenge without a vice.
Put some glow 3d eyes on, tied up as awkwardly as humanly possible and called it a wrap.

The other is from Attica, or Mr RuseLL, if you will. Purty Purty work. A minner head that fades Top to bottom. Black to bass green to pearl, all with the fine glitter reflectiveness. Must be mica powder? On top of that, a powder paint eye! Truly sweet.

Anywho, thx for looking.

Nice ties, especially without a vise. I've tied without a vise before just to see if I could and the turned out ok,but awkward is an understatement. Those really look great.

...Must be mica powder?...

It is mica mixed into some clear and only lightly tapped on - gives any color a little xtra bling. Add much more and the color turns a pearly silver with only a hint of the original color.

Excellent ties. Are you holding the hook with your hand to tie? I have a small pair of vise-grip pliers that fit in my hand..... can lock a hook in them and tie fairly easily when i am away from my home vise. A pair of small vise-grip pliers doesn't cost much and is a whole lot easier than holding with your fingers. Just make sure it is small enough to fit in your hand. Have to get creative on how you hold materials and hitch or whip knot, but it can be done. I traded off my old vise a while back, would have it in the mail to ya if i still had it.
