I was fishing a small state fishing lake yesterday, and to escape the wind I tried something new. I went down to the spillway and fished the creek coming out of the lake. Surprisingly, my first three fish were a couple nice (for this place) bluegills and crappie... Then this happened....

First time I've ever caught a creek chub! 1/32oz black/black/orange tipped with maggots under a bobber.

Put that out in the deep water of the spillway and see if you can't catch a big cat!!!!
