On a Gill binge

All of these work for sure except I have not tried the rubber legged ones but I suspect the fish will like them too. I have let imagination run unchecked on some of these but so far fish in agreement with my demented mind

Have used larva lace , hackle , ultra chenille ( regular chenille fish tear up too fast) , tungsten beads 1/80 and 1/100 jigs , wire and peacock herl. If it was in grabbing range of the table it was in danger of being used.

Used lighter to taper butt of worm to give that finished appearance. I don't think the fish would notice either way but I like the tapered look.

Aren't tungsten beads expensive? Do they work any better than small jig heads?

I like the tapered worm end too - like the finished end of doggie do.

They ought to catch the "doogie do" out of the bluegills. Sorry Hawnjigs, I had to say that. I'm still laughing after reading it! You did a great job papaperch tying those. I never thought about using chenille to imatate an worm. I got some "freebe" jigheads like that from Crazy Angler. I know what to do with them now.
