Went and played for keeps this time. Fish all over the water column and no rhyme or reason why. One thing is for certain a little black jig catches the nicer fish. I came home and tied up some 1/32 belly spin with black rabbit. Also did some other colors in small sizes.

Hand was cold when I started. Fought ice in the eyes of the st croix. That rod has very small eyes. Ended the day without gloves though. Going to tie some more up tonight. Maybe even some new ducks.

Nice catch and report. It is so easy to overlook the base colors of white and black because of all the colors we have to pick from. Thanks for sharing the pic.
