Spent the weekend fishing my buddy's farm pond.

We didn't land any of the of his BIG bass. We did however have a blast catching a ton of smaller bass and a mess of bluegills. Caught a handful of bluegill and bass on a black Auto and a Chartreuse hackle feather jig. The majority of the fish were only hitting a 1/16 plain minnow head with red/chartreuse crappie tube or topwater plugs.

These were the two homemade plugs that I caught the most with.

I caught the most bass with my injured shad I made awhile back. I would of fished with it all weekend but the only Big bass I hooked into took it home with him yesterday morning.

Caught a few with my torpedo buzzbait/helicopter lure. When you retrieve it it buzzes the top but if you stop it goes vertical and helicopters down.

My OddBall topwater rig that actually worked....The bass kept nailing my orange float on the retrieve so I brought it down to the jig and added an extra hook. Caught 6 bass on this weird set up :P:icon14:

Nice pics.I've always said I was gonna add a treble hook to my bobbers for when the bass hit them.
