New Ties in Process.

Time for striper and bluefish season to start.Got the mold for these Ultra Minnows yesterday.2,3 and 4 oz. Got some poured this morning and am getting ready for some paint jobs and eyes.Here's the start.Will post as I go.Going to make some Peanut Bunker.

Here's the first two,2 and 3 oz.The 4 oz. got got a drip on his nose,gotta fix that,lol.

Just painted on the shad dots.Next pic will show them,lol.Man they look good.

I always rush and smear up my dots,lol.Tomorrow,quit making me look at them laying here,lol.

Next comes the clear coat and a grass skirt.

Here's the 3 oz. I really like it.I hope the fish do.That mold takes a 8/0 Mustad hook.I don't think they make deer that big,lol.

The pink one looks a lot better.It is a 2 oz.,that 8/0 hook has got to go down to a 6/0.

Here's the last one that I'm going to tye up until I try them out.It's in the pattern of a Striped Mullet which are kinda brownish on top.I switched to a 5/0 635 Eagle Claw to see if it would fit into the mold.I think a 6/0 would be the ticket.It's a 2 oz. with a 5/0 hook.

Not until September.Gotta wait until the water temp hits about 65 or so.There's another pound in the ole tacklebox.

Thanks Doc.The 2 oz. are 1/4" eyes the 3 oz. are 5/16 and the 4 oz. are 9/32.I'll have to send you another box as I forgot to throw in the Ultra Minnows,lol.You'll have plenty to try out and practise with until you get them,lol.You need some long bucktails,keep a lookout for some.The dots are acrylic jig paint dipped with a finish mail.
