I enjoyed reading the update on Red. A little while back I read the other thread about and began making the wool and satin jigs. As matter of fact, I bought some more satin last night.Walmart had all colors on sale. I bought .51 cents worth. Enough to last a long time.

An enjoyable and interesting read. Thanks for making that available.
Does anybody have an example of one of Red's jigs?

I met Red a couple years ago. He was at a show near Buffalo. He was in a wheelchair at the time. I spent about 45 minutes with him. One of the most interesting people I have ever met. I bought some things from him and he showed me quite a few other ways that he makes his jigs. I wish that I could have spent 45 hours with him. I'm sure if we had the time I could have learned a lot more.

Ok, here you go. It's a lot of reading, but you won't be disappointed. It's become one of my favorite jigs to Ty.

Thanks for that.

I have 'bookmarked' the thread so I can spend time digesting all that very interesting and useful info. Red certainly sounds like one of Life's characters.

I can see now why you bought all that satin fabric the other day at Walmart.
