How in the world do you powder coat these things without messing up the barrel swivel? Thoughts?

To Keep swivel clean, After heating, I touch the barrel against an ice cube szzzz, cool and paint wont stick, then dip in PC. Alternately, you can just dip in water. Takes some practice but works very well.

I lke the teflon tape idea and gonna give it a try as soon as remember where the tape is.

wrap the swivel with " PLUMBERS TEFLON TAPE " it is heat resistant and removes eaisly after curing

I do the foil deal, but gonna try the tape deal next time. Not sure about the ice cube thing, might make my crown to warm to drink... ;)
