Teal pillheads 1/16th oz. blue mallard flank tails and dubbing mixed from Ice dub caddis green and SLF kingfisher

That teal is really a great color with the style of jig and material choices you've made, excellent use of it but then again, you do have a way with color!!!!!!

Do any of you dye your own feathers or all sore bought. Saved a bunch of mallard flank feathers from ducks I shot this year and have enough to dye different colors but could use some input. Have done some bucktails with Kool-Aid in the past but have never tried feathers. Wasn't sure how they might dry???? Any help would be much appreciated. Eyecrosser

Thanks - Hopefully Jungle Jim will pipe in he's done some really nice dye jobs on feathers and can point you in the right direction.
