New Horsehead tie

Tried out a new tie with a horsehead jig.

Messed up the first one when I cut the strands WAY to short. This one turned out alot better.

Interesting idea for the nose bladed horse heads..... would like to hear how the blade spins once you get a chance to chuck them in the water.

Yeah I'm worried about that one LOL - the legs are mostly over the top of the swivel and the blade hangs under them hoping it doesn't hang up but I can always trim some of the legs out of the way.

I have a lot of the skirts in a buy from a guy on a fly tying site so I've got a bunch of colors to try out if it works!!!!

It's a material spring clip - push materials into it and it holds them out of the way at least that's what they say but the most I've ever done is put the thread with the bobbin to hold it out of the way for a second.
