Well my picture turned out bad but you can at least see the glitter in the black and some black in the watermelon color. I really wish you could see the black which I'm calling "black oblivion", I got some glitter from the craft store called crystal diamond and it looks awesome. The bottom color I named after a member here because he likes that type of color but if he objects I'll change it. The top jig is a 1/16oz weedless round head painted the black oblivion color, it has a body of black and blue bucktail with short brown bucktail over top as my other ties have been. The bottom jig is the same 1/16oz painted in a color I call "stump melon", it has a body of olive and green bucktail with gold flash and short brown bucktail over the top to finish. The crystal diamond glitter is artminds brand and it has green, tiny tiny metallic red specs that come out and white glitter that looks like snow in the jar but on the head it looks like a combination of gold and silver hologram. I made it this morning and I did a quick dip and I was disappointed at first as I didn't see any glitter, I figured I had to add more but before I did I took the head out of the house and into the sunlight and it lit up like it was on fire, so I was almost good to go, I added another teaspoon of it to get more of the green so it would show up in low light and I think I got it.

SJ You might want to take a look at Galaxy black PP. I get mine from Crazy Angler it all ready has the glitter in the black. I think it was lost pole that set me on to that PP. I got one of his jigs in a swap on one of the boards. It has become on of my Standard patterns.

The Brown and blue will do a good job on Small mouth on glacier lakes when they start after crawfish. That was the same color that we would fish in early June in the Midwest for them and it was killer. Nice ties.

Thanks guys, The Galaxy black was the reason I was making this color Redman as I too found it very nice and where it would help with actual triggering or attracting fish. I was going to go that route until I found glitter that worked with the heat and the color I used with the black and clear was crystal diamond, it seriouly looks like it is on fire when it get hit with direct sunlight as not only greens and silver come out but you get gold and a fire red color, it is really nice stuff. I'm waiting on the epoxy to set up on a spinnerbait I made with it, I'm hoping the bigger body will show more but I already had the galaxy black on my next powder purchase list until this worked out.
