New Guinea Jig

Shoemoo Traded me a partial guinea skin dyed green for some jig heads and something else which slips my feeble old mind. Any way I got to tying a came up with this. Am really liking these darter heads the more I work with them. The picture isn't that great turned out to dark for me but you can get the idea. Fire Tiger head 1/32 oz size #4 Matzuo Sickle bronze. Size A tying thread. Dyed Green Guinea feathers. Crystal Flash-a-bou

I have a few guinea feathers and wasn't sure i was tying them right, to fisherman/womens eye. Know the sacs like em.

Nice tie - with the loss of all the threads I'm trying to remember how to paint that jig head we talked about. Do you still have a pict of it??? Was a darter head someone else tied up and you tried tying it.

Glad to see you're putting those feathers to good use. I like guinea feathers. They're just so neat looking with the polka dots, and you can get them dyed in a billion different colors. I've got my eye on some magenta guinea feathers at the local tackle shop.
