Need Domestic Engineering HELP

Where can I get or what can I make an element from . This is a 15 pound pouring ladle . Here are the pics .

I'd try taking it apart first and testing it with a multimeter to see if the problem is actually the element itself or just some burnt out electrical components or wiring. Replacing some wires will be a lot easier than a custom heating element.

Also, C Palmer Mfg is still in business, though they don't make this particular pot anymore. They might be able to tell you who carries old replacement parts.

Domestic engineering........ a nice pile of hard wood and a match will get it warm. :) Sorry, i'm no help.

Thanks gonna give everything a try . In the end will have to follow Attica's advice to get the crap out of it .
