Now this is a rockin' bass fly. It's got everything a bass wants!!! If this pattern doesn't have smallmouth bass written all over it then nothing does.

Marabou? Yep.

Glitter Chenille? Yep.
Soft Plastic grub tail? Yep.
Silly Legs? Yep.
Baitfish profile? Yep.
Natural colors of Olive? Yep.

I cannot wait to huck this fly!!!

Oh yeah - that little guy will see his day in glory!!! Everything but the kitchen sink in there.

I am no 'purist' fly fisher by faaaaaaaaar, but don't think i have ever tried to huck a plastic bait on the FR. It, most likely, would end up lodged in the back of my skull... but you are making me re-think it. Have to give something like that a go this year... wearing hat.


Edit: Looks like a good color cactus chenille. Have a name and where from?
