My First Nail Polish Jig

This is my first using nail polish. I base coated the head with white acrylic paint then polish painted it and sealed it with Hard As Nails. I call it the baby bass.
1/16 oz minnow head
Barred neck hackle
Mallard flank-natural
Kansas slabs chenille

Nice-looking pattern and paint job.

That jig would likely work well in my local reservoir.

Thanks everyone, I'm still wondering about using epoxy. I bought some Hard As Nails Topcoat and used it on the head. It seems hard enough to me. I know some of you use epoxy. I'd love to hear the pros and cons plus techniques for applying it.

That is a real nice jig Scott. You did a good job with the head and the red sets it off.

Very nice looking jig. I really like the addition of the duck feathers in the tail. Looks like a killer!
