I've gone crappie fishing a few times this year long lining pony heads, but this was my first trip spider rigging jigs. The weather has been terrible with the rain, wind, and high water. I finally had a good windless day.

Awesome shot of the old ironing board :) good to see it in use again. Scott are you using minnows or just tipping with the crappie baits. With our waters being muddy the crappie have been wanting only minnows fished very very slow on the spider rigging trips.

I'm just tipping them with Crappie Nibbles. The only time I use minnows is when I fish Grenada Lake. It seems like the big slabs at Grenada like the minnows.
