Also, where are you finding Mustad 3399's? Any in size 10-12?

Janns Netcraft has them, down to size 12. $4.69/100. They also have the S60-3399A signature fly hooks and the cost is $2.85/25!!! So that is more like a quarter of the price!

I use more of the 3366 straight eye sproats and bend the eye myself so i can make them with longer legs for crimping on split shot or short legs for bead chain clousers. I can't tell the difference in quality between the 3366 and the S60-339A hooks.

Just watch the shipping fees at Netcraft.... they pinch a little.

The 3399A is a CLASSIC wet fly and beadhead nymph hook. I have been hording mine that I have left...

I bought 1000 of the 3366's in size 8 about two years ago. I use that hook a ton for bluegill flies. Small streamers are where it's at. Mini Puglisi minnows, bead chain eyed hares ears, chenille minnows....

Must places you look for the 3399 list them as out of stock with no ETA for replacement. Capt Hooks only lists 16, 4 and 1/0
Now on 3366 they have from 12 to 1/0.

I would but I don't have a state sales tax#, federal tax id#, business license#, or 637 tax exemption#. I got a email sale flyer from them and tried to order but no number.
