Well it is official, I'm hooked on the wool and satin jig. I don't know what it is but it really does have a natural look, and like most of you I tank tested the jigs and they do take on a minnow shape no matter how you tie it. These are both 3/32oz walleye heads, the top jig is green pumpkin with olive wool and metallic green sating fibers. The bottom jig is white with white wool and white satin fibers for the most part but I also added some metallic green satin fibers as well to give it a little contrast. I really like these and I like tying them and something tells me the fish are going to like them a lot also!

Those are really really really great looking jigs. Very nice profiles.
I actually considered trying to tie some but hobby lobby had no wool and I'm not much of a shopper. I think we have a Joanne's…… somewhere.
Think I'll study and admire yalls a bit more and wait on some fish pics.

Great work

Like the looks of those - have wondered how these would do in larger sizes for distance casting without a float......... but then that takes out the 'vertical' jigging aspect of the wool shape for how i mainly fish.
