Those look really good too. Reminds me of Pig Boats or early Hank Roberts Zonker ties that I once flung from my 10 wt.
The purple one is an all-purpose largemouth bass color to use in a variety of conditions imo. I detect a bit of electric grape in the sili legs, a favorite of color combination of mine. Holy candy store.

Spot on! Those would catch fish all day and all night here. Still not sure about slinging the long rod into lily pads..... hope you have a heavy leader. Never really tried with a fly rod, but have sure broken off a lot of times using spinning gear in the pads.

Russ Im going to try along the edges and open spots in the lilies, may have to go to spinning gear but think it will be fun trying. Heck the worst thing that could happen is to break off and that will give me a reason to tye some more ha ha.
