Minnow Head Perch

Picked up a minnow head jig mold to add to my arsenal and finally got around to casting a few and painting them. Took the 3/8 and tried a perch pattern.



Black gold microlon tail
Tulip Gold glitter & black for eye
Watermelon, yellow, white and flo orange body
Wooly chenille with orange hackle for fin.

Just a tip tied in. I cut the tip off for one side and then just trimmed the end up and made another tip for the other. Yeh I know, I'm cheap.

I'm not scared to go cheap either and extend the material. I pick up marabou trims and make sure I get the rest of it off the stem, that still good and usable material.
