Hi,
I failed to hold back a few hundred of these hooks for my private stash when I switched to VMC. Now a friend starts whining about the flounder jigs (usd wobble jig) working far better with them. They indeed do a great job in holding a good portion of a lug worm and hook small mouthed plaice before they steal the bait. They fall rather large, the way I remember it a #1 fits the largest cavety.
Anybody got a few hundred left he can spare or knows a somewhat stainless long shank sickle alternative? Hawnjigs you once sold me a similar permasteel variant in larger sizes. Those would be great!
