Marabou Minnows

These are 1/16oz minnow heads with a #4 hook painted in a "mud minnow" or fathead minnow pattern. I tied in barred UV predator wrap in first for flash and then white marabou for the body and fished with olive brown marabou over top for color and bulk. These are going to be used in the next two week under floats as the crappie are now moving in, my trout fishing friends tell me every year when they start catching crappie in the lakes on small minnows, this is the time for the float deal to work and one of the times that I target crappie.

Like 'em! Should be a nice color blend once wet.

Fatheads or creekchubs are about all that is available around me unless i drive up to L.Erie. The brown minnows are reliable.

:D:icon14:Man those are so awful I'd send them to me to drown somewhere or hide in my tackle box . Promise not to tell on you for making them .
