Got out before the thunderstorms and the river rose 9'.  At least we got one good day on the river.  Caught them on swimbaits and spinnerbaits.

About 10 smallies - all close to that size. About because I wasn't counting - just picking them off every now & then.

In a kayak I take two rods - in a 'real' boat three.

Really nice smallie. 9' foot rise, how much rain did you get ? That's a lot of water. Wish we would get another rise like that here so wipers run back up in the creeks, want another crack at them.

Not sure how much Jim, but we had a thunderstorm come through & park over the area. Poured. Kinda nice on a tin roof.

River went up another 3' the next day.
