LP 2/2/13

Fish Lake Perris with Mealworm, LedHed and Tim. Water was in the high 40's, lake level dropped in the last few weeks, and the inlet running fill blast in the morning. We fished mostly deep water (50-60 feet), but hit a few other spots while the inlet was running. Total for the day was 25 BG, one was 11", and a bass that we netted at the surface. The bass was choking on a BG and was bloated from coming up to fast, but still alive.

Good to see you got into some. I know it was slow in the beginning so it must have picked up a bit. Fish tacos in the livewell, nice.

We headed back to the canyon, after I got off the phone with you, where Todd got the pig. Was weird - they had the inlet on for about an hour or two - then they turned it off. Got some pretty nice fish - left them biting.

Those are some nice gills!! Got me drooling over their size. Good report and pics.

Pretty pictures and beautiful fish. Would love to tangle with one of those lunker gills on my noodle rod.
