Still biting at that "boring" lake. Ha ha! Good deal. I like that first pic with a catch of doubles. So the water is starting to cool down. I would think that you should start finding a few crappie mixed in with those deeper BGs. All the larger crappie that I have caught there at LP have been on your silver/gray shad jigs with the 3D eyes tipped with a waxwork. After the new year, I'll have to go out with you. Seems with my new meds and exercise, my back is feeling a lot better.

Ledhed, are those 1/32 oz jigs? In 50 FOW? How long does it take the jig to fall through the water column to the strike zone?

Hope the bite stays consistent through January Jeff. Right now we are finding a lot of scattered fish with some pods.

Allen the roundheads are Do-it - so they are closer to 1/48th and we are fishing the top part of the column - 10 to 15 FOW. Still trolling.
