I want to try transparent candy colors over gold or copper vein PP, but I don't want to buy a full pound. I've got silver vein, but it's not very reflective so doesn't show up well as an undercoat.

I have all kinds of feathers, rabbit and fox fur and other powder paint colors from Rosey's. Anyone willing to trade for a couple of ounces? I can also send money via PayPal if there's nothing you want to trade for.

I'll be putting in a couple ounces as part of my contribution for round 2 of the T&M swap

You could ear mark it for shoemoo in the T&M swap - I think you only have Russ (AF) in between......

I thought I'd do that too. Kdog, what colors will you be putting in? I don't want to duplicate. I've got several vein's, not a lot of each but enough to share. I'll put Shoe's name on some. That is if she can wait a few weeks to get it.

Just finished putting a bunch in 1 ounce jars, (15 total) I'll add an extra and mark it for shoemoo.
Colors, Chartruese, Kawasaki green, Highlighter yellow, Emerald city green, bright orange red, transparent teal, transparent brass, Ultimate Chrome, Coffee-N-Cream (reddish brown), Pink, Sassy pink and Bublegum pink, Telemagenta, Heather Violet (think lilac), Violet purple (think Barney).

I maybe went overboard but I have a whole lot of powder and about 30 more 1 - 2 pound sample packs that have never been opened. A friend owns a powder coat company and has given me a bunch of sample packs. Unforunately, most are boring blacks, whites and reds.

Kdog, nothing wrong with powder paints. I have 50 jars of different custom blends sitting on my desk now and would love to see how some of those look. 1 oz jars are great because they take up less space, always downsizing to the smaller jars, need more empty small jars.

Best price I found was Uline at about 40 cents each. I got lucky and found someone at a flea market selling them for $25 per hundred. So I have a decent supply but it is dwindlng as these jars are so handy! I wish I had bought more,

I have gold vein and silver and the problem isn't the vein paint not being reflective enough, it is the candy color, if you are using protec candy colors it won't work too well unless you are doing larger jigs like 3/8oz and up. I tried both gold and silver vein with candy yellow, candy purple, candy red, and so on and then I was done with that until I found some transparent chartreuse from another supplier and I don't know who it was as the jar is plain, I got it years ago but that worked and after doing some research I found that the jig armor paints from Boss outdoors does use a light candy color that isn't as dense as the protec that allows the base coat to come through while still giving it color.

I think Shoe has mentioned most of her candy colors were from Rosey's so getting the veining to show thru shouldn't be a problem as long as the vein coat does what it's supposed to. These are all done with Rosey's Candy colors...

Thanks for the thoughts, guys. I'm way down on the list again, so I'd rather not wait for the swap box. Going to be at least a month before it gets here, probably closer to two.

LedHed, what color arctic fox do you need? I have white, black, orange, kingfisher blue and chartreuse.
