As an independent who considers conservative and liberal values NOT mutually exclusive...Remember when we were FELLOW AMERICANS ?
Most of us value conservative ideals like "look before you leap", "don't fix what ain't broke", "don't spend what you ain't got". Common sense rules of governance, right? But, we rushed into invading foreign countries with disastrous consequences, dismantled tax codes and regs that enabled prosperity for the working class, and tax cuts for the rich revenue shortfall started by Reagan necessitated borrowing to continue funding gov operating expenses.
