Yea or Nay, I did some more small bucktails in the "rootbeer jig" style for myself since my friends are wanting to try them as much as I do. Well I really liked the look of adding the pheasant as a collar both dry and wet and I bet they will be great in the sun so this is what I decided to change. I pulled some longer feathers from my bag and tied two jigs with the long feathers as collars just for fun and now I'm asking the opinion of all the members on how it looks and I can take a bad review. The top jig is a 1/16oz weedless round head painted black, it has a body of black bucktail and silver flash and some natural bucktail over top finished with a pheasant feather collar. The bottom jig is a 1/8oz weedless round head painted brown with a body of brown bucktail and finished simply with an extra large pheasant feather. I haven't tried them in my 5 gallon bucket test tank as of yet but it will be something I will do tomorrow, I just wanted to see what you all have to say.
